Script Superheroes swoop into the Comedy Bar and Harbourfront!
Free playwriting workshop for kids aged 8 to 11!

(Toronto – August 17, 2009) This fall, local theatre talents Alison Broverman and Kristen McGregor teach their popular Script Superheroes playwriting workshop especially for kids aged 8 to 12. And thanks to a grant from the Ontario Arts Council, this fall the class is absolutely free! They both know a lot about good stories, and are experts in awesome!

What is their super power?
They can show you how to take an idea from inside your head and put it up on stage for everyone to see!

Will they share their super power?
YES!! If you are between the ages of 8 and 12, you can learn how to be a Script Superhero too!

When can they teach me their super power?
This weekend at the Toronto Fringe Festival Kids Venue at the Palmerston Library!

I'm a kid. I don't have a job. How much will this cost me?
Nothing! Becoming a Script Superhero is free! All you have to do is show up with lots of fun ideas!

But I've never written a play before! What if I don't know how?
Don't worry. Even Shakespeare had never written a play before he wrote his first play. And once you've written a play, you'll have written a play!

But aren't plays boring?
